MOVEABLE TYPES is a curated book event by Frances Horn, and highlights the importance of printed matter and publishing for contemporary art. At Witte de With, the fair presents 18 publishers that especially have a close relation to poetry and performance.

In 2019 we celebrated 10 years of Jap Sam Books. A moment to pause and reflect, as well as to enjoy this milestone. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this 10 years. Happy holidays and the best for the New Year.

The exhibition A Walk in High Resolution is a visual and spatial travel book that revisits David Bergé’s silent Walk Pieces in Berlin, Ostend, Vienna, Istanbul, Aalst, Tokyo, Brussels, Tbilisi, Thessaloniki and Seoul, cross-sectioned with our personal geographies. 

At the end of this week the book A Critical History of Media Art in the Netherlands: Platforms, Policies, Technologies edited by Marga van Mechelen and Sanneke Huisman, designed by Mind Design, and made possible by Jap Sam Books, the Mondriaan Fund, the Creative Industries Fund NL, LIMA and V2_, is finally ready. On this occasion, Museum Arnhem and Focus Filmtheater will present the Media Art Festival Arnhem on Sunday 24 November 2019 from 11:00 to 22:00.
