Generasi 3.0 – The Stories We Carry explores how younger generations use art to investigate their family history in former Dutch East Indies. With works by Caja Boogers, Sander Coers, Yara Jimmink, Miranda Devita Kistler, Sebastian & Tyler Koudijzer, Ilvy Njiokiktjien, Sekan and Maarten Tromp.

Thursday May 23rd Arja Hop & Peter Svenson presented their latest publication, titled Felwa at Huis Marseille. In this book, Hop & Svenson explore an essential paradox of nature, in the context of the Veluwe region in the Netherlands, namely that change is the only constant. After director of Huis Marseille Nanda van den Berg welcomed everyone, writer Lucette ter Borg and botanical philosopher Norbert Peeters   – who also wrote a text for the book – spoke about the book. The first copy of the book was presented to graphic designer Edwin van Gelder by Arja & Peter.

December 14th we had a jam packed launch of The File on D. / Dossier D. by Arianne Olthaar in The Hague. This fold-out book of photographs of hotel interiors in the former Eastern Bloc by visual artist Arianne Olthaar, challenges the imagination to create its own space and story while wandering through the cinematic empty spaces. Dutch writer Arnon Grunberg, inspired by the photographs, wrote a short story for the book. Book design by Studio Janneke Hendriks.

Tomorrow, Thursday November 9th, the publication [UN]FINISHED will officially launch at HYPER HYPO in Athens, Greece. With a performative intervention by the artists followed by readings and a dialogue with art theorist Elpida Karaba, and architect Platon Issaias.

Friday April 14th, together with Popma ter Steege we presented the new publication: Reuse to Reduce. Architecture within a Carbon Budget. The Case of BioPartner 5 - Popma ter Steege Architects.
