Coming sunday the Books Are Bridges Art Books Fest takes place at the Clubhouse of SNV in Rotterdam. Our representative Jesse Presse will showcase a selection of new publications by Jap Sam Books at their table. Come say hi!

The jury of the Prix de Rome has selected four entries for the shortlist for the Prix de Rome 2022 Architecture: Healing Sites from 53 anonymous entries. The Prix de Rome is the oldest and most generous award in the Netherlands for visual artists under the age of 40 and architects under the age of 35. Jap Sam Books will publish the accompanying publication. Today we will introduce you to the architects and their submission for the open call from which they were selected.

Saturday June 4th is the last day of Arjan van Helmond's exhibition at the Albada Jelgersma Gallery. On this day at 2PM Edo Dijksterhuis will talk with Arjan van Helmond about van Helmond's exhibition Vertical Thinking. On May 19th the publication RAABJERG. Rune Peitersen was launched at the Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie in Mannheim. The film artist Rune Peitersen made as part of the project premiered at this event as well. In light of this we want to share some extra imagery of this publication with you.

From April 29th until May 1st Singapore Art Book Fair 2022, one of Asia's leading art book fairs will take place in the Singapore Art Museum! Jap Sam Books will be represented by Thing Books during this event with a dedicated JSB table featuring a selection of our publications.

During the weekend of May 7th and 8th the 6th edition of Ghent Art Book Fair will take place and Jap Sam Books will be there!
