03|12 22|12 December Bookshop: The Book as Art and Vision by Jap Sam Books

Jap Sam Books is honoured to announce our collaboration with SixtyEight Art Institute and Really Simple Syndicate Press. Together with Denisa Tomkova, curator and research fellow from SixtyEight Art Institute we curated a bookshop and an exhibition.

December Bookshop: The Book as Art and Vision by Jap Sam Books will be open from December 3th. Check SixtyEight Art Institute's website for the opening times.

On December 3th the December Bookshop will be officially opened with a talk between Eleonoor Jap Sam, editor and founder of Jap Sam Books and Denisa Tomkova, this starts at 19.00.

Their conversation titled Towards an Editorial Research Field will be about publishing, cross-border collaborations, and editorial research as an emerging field.

The exhibition will highlight the following book project in the exhibition, Erik Odijk. The Academy of the Sublime, Anuli Croon. Patterns of Life | Levenspatronen, A Colour Has Many Layers. Liesbeth Piena, Before I was Born from artist Tja Ling, No Seat At The Table from artist Minem Sezgin, The Walter Benjamin and Albert S. Project from artist Maurice Bogaert and a teaser from the upcoming book project from artist Rune Peitersen named RAABJERG. In addition to the exhibition there will be a selection of new books and books from our backlist for sale in the bookshop.
