Yasmijn Jarram (curator KM21) with Carla Klein

Last Sunday June 2nd artist book Ivory Black, Deep Orange Yellow by Carla Klein was launched at KM21 in The Hague. The afternoon was held in the exhibition room where Klein's first solo museum exhibition in the Netherlands Close Distance took place the past few months. One of the authors of the book, Gerrit Willems engaged in a conversation with Carla Klein about her work and practice. 

On May 28th, 2024 visual artist Jan van Munster (1939-2024) passed away. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

Last month, author Raoul Bunschoten presented the first official copy of the new publication Taiwan Strait to professor Wang Shaosen at a reading at the University of Xiamen, China.

Tomorrow, June 11th the new publication by Babs Haenen will be released in Basel! We are looking forward to this event during Design Miami and Art Basel, organized by Archivorum ic/w Jap Sam Books.

What a wonderful news! After being selected as a 2023 The Best Dutch Book Designs, Interwoven is also awarded a gold cube at the ADC NY 2024.

Last week Taco Dibbits, director of RIjksmuseum, accepted the first copy of the new publication by artist Kees de Goede. This was preceded by an interview with the artist by Diana Matroos.

Jap Sam Books and TU Delft OPEN Publishing would like to announce the expansion of their partnership to co-publish journals and books. These publications will be digitally published by TU Delft OPEN Publishing with an open license. Jap Sam Books is the publisher of the physical copies of these publications, which will be available to customers through its sales channels worldwide. This partnership started out with the academic journal Footprint and will now be accompanied with the Ecologies of Architecture Book Series, with more to come.

From tomorrow on a series of art book fairs will take place all over Europe, which we will attend. Physically as well as digitally and through our publications, so where ever you are you will be able to participate!
