Today, Wednesday November 8th, the Sieger White Award 2022 and the first copy of Myriad Ways of Being ~ Being of Myriad Ways. Simone Albers will be presented to the artist at Gallery Maurits van de Laar, this event also marks the opening of the eponymous exhibition at the gallery (November 1st - 25th 2023).

Tomorrow, Thursday November 9th, the publication [UN]FINISHED will officially launch at HYPER HYPO in Athens, Greece. With a performative intervention by the artists followed by readings and a dialogue with art theorist Elpida Karaba, and architect Platon Issaias.

We are so happy to share our new 2023 | 2024 catalogue including 40 new titles with you! With a beautiful design by Montse Hernandez I Sala.

From tomorrow, Wednesday October 18th to the 22nd the 75th Frankfurter Buchmesse will take place! Jap Sam Books is happy to be included in this special event and invites you to visit us in hall 3.1, booth H137.

We are looking forward to our next art book fair, Miss Read 2023 in Berlin! Come by our stand for a chat and the opportunity to leaf through our publications. We will bring our latest launches as well as a selection of our backlist. 

September 24th the publication The Artist as Explorer by Madelon Hooykaas will be published, with a design by Inedition (Eva van der Schans), edited by Madelon Hooykaas, Claire van Putten, and Eleonoor Jap Sam. With text contributions by Jan Bor, Malcolm Dickson, Dorothea Franck, Jacqueline Grandjean, Madelon Hooykaas, and Chris Meigh-Andrews.

We are excited to announce the nomination the Prix Bob Calle 2023 of jaune, geel, gelb, yellow. Monochrome by artist Antonis Pittas, designed by Alex Farrar! Publisher Eleonoor Jap Sam, and artist Antonis Pittas will attend the prize ceremony on June 8th in Paris. This award has been created to show and celebrate the particular art form that is the artist's book, and to help its recognition and international influence.
