The past month we celebrated the launch of two special limited edition artist books, Displace and Mother's Milk. We also had two great book events of the earlier launched publications The Civic Empowerment Toolbox and RAABJERG. Rune Peitersen. In this post we look back on these events through images.
Book launch Displace
Displace, a limited edition artist book was launched at Looiersgracht 60 as part of Archive Event VII - Honeycombing. With a welcome talk by Eleonoor Jap Sam, a reading by Amelia Groom of her essay contribution and a discussion between Maddie Rose Hills, Tariq Heijboer and Elena Khurtova.

Book launch Mother's Milk
Mother's Milk, an artist's book and archival fiction into madness and intergenerational trauma, was also launched at Looiersgracht 60 as part of Archive Event VII - Honeycombing. A wonderful event with a performance by Marie Ilse Bourlanges, and a discussion with Marta Pagliuca Pelacani.

Book event The Civic Empowerment Toolbox
One of our latest publications The Civic Empowerment Toolbox was presented at Pakhuis de Zwijger during a special book event. The programme consisted of various speakers who contributed to the book and this evening was a starting point to look into the future of active citizenship from four perspectives: Practice, Theory, Education and Media. With Sabine Niederer (Prof. of Visual Methodologies), Ben Schouten (Em. Prof. Design for Playful Interaction), Saskia Beer (Director Transformcity), Silvia Cazacu (PhD KU Leuven), and Willem van de Ven.

Book event RAABJERG. Rune Peitersen
The project RAABJERG of Danish artist Rune Peitersen consists of a publication and a film. During this evening at Club SOLO a screening of the film was presented as well as a talk with Edwin van Gelder, designer of the publication and Rune Peitersen.
