LAUNCHED _____ On the evening of Wednesday 16 September, the festive and official presentation of the Atlas of Tree City Delft took place at the TU Delft Hortus Botanicus. 

The launch coincided with the icebreaker event for the ECLAS Conference 26 (European Council of Landscape Architecture Schools), which is taking place this year from 16 to 19 September at the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft 

The authors, Dr René van der Velde, Erik A. De Jong and Saskia de Wit, introduced the book to the audience, and all the students who had contributed to the book were also present. 

Publisher and editor-in-chief Eleonoor Jap Sam presented the first copy of the book to Frank van Vliet, Councillor for Finance, Mobility and a Healthy Living Environment for the City of Delft. The publication was published by Jap Sam Books in English and Dutch editions, with design by Thomas Soete.

The Atlas of Tree City Delft is an initiative by René van der Velde, Saskia de Wit from the Urban Forestry research group at the section landscape Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, University of Technology, Delft. Erik de Jong, emeritus professor of Culture, Nature and Landscape from the University of Amsterdam is co-editor and co-author of the atlas.
