29.08.2010-21.11.2010 Mark Pimlott/Tony Fretton Piazzasalone, 12e Biennale Internazionale di architettura di Venezia
Mark Pimlott and Tony Fretton have collaborated to create the installation 'Piazzasalone' in response to the 12th International Architecture Exhibition's theme of 'People meet in architecture', curated by Kazuyo Sejima.
The collaboration is derived form a central, shared aim: to make architecture and art that gives priority to experience of the present, understanding that it is affected by the past by association and fantasy.
Also Mark Pimlott latest book In Passing and his previous book from 2007 Without and Within: Essays on Territory and the Interior will be presented at the Biennale in Venice.
