In Wat heet lichamelijke opvoeding? Ecosociale educatie op de Brede school scientists, policy makers and professionals reflect on the project Physical Integrity by Rotterdam Skillcity.
A three year long pilot (2008-2011) on primary school Bloemhof in Rotterdam South, Physical Integrity was aimed at the development of eco-social consciousness through communal gardening, cooking lessons, lunch, judo and philosophy.
Together with lectors at Dutch universities of applied sciences and policy experts like Pieter Winsemius, pedagogical scientists like Micha de Winter, Luc Stevens and Irma van Hoorik compare Physical Integrity with projects of similar scope. Professionals in perma culture, pedagogy, philosophy education and food education reflect on their involvement in the project and show some of the most promising results.
