HUNCH 2
Jennifer Sigler [ed.]
HUNCH 2
starts of with the continuation of 'Bad Architecture Stories', the
diary by Shiuan-Wen Chu. Further Bart Lootsma comments on Jan
Kapsenberg's research into Gay Software 'Erotic Maneuvers', Norman
Klein communicates his predictions in 'the Feudal impulse in the age of
the palm pilot', and Joep van Lieshout lectures on Do-It-Myself:
ALV-Ville, complemented with an interview with Van Lieshout.
HUNCH 2
also features the Sendai Mediatheque by Toyo Ito, and participant
proposals for the area around the central station in Groningen.
HUNCH is a publication of the Berlage Institute, International
Postgraduate Laboratory of Architecture, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The Berlage Institute Report focusses on the changing profession of
architecture/ urbanism and its intersection with contemporary culture.
Hunch aims to break down boundaries between architecture and other
disciplines, between popular and academic, between 'students' and
professionals. It presents the research pursued at the Institute, along
with special events, interviews, and the work of visiting lecturers and
guest -professors.
